Their journey began in the most unconventional way when they crossed paths in a gritty boxing gym. In a raw display of talent and determination, Alex left Shelton with a black eye, and Shelton returned the favour with a bloodied nose. Fate brought them back together backstage at the Rhythm and Vines festival, where Shelton recognised Alex’s untapped potential as a ferocious rapper and invited him to collaborate on his project, Deadbeat.
